About Me:
A little about me, I am an Ohio artist who gathers inspiration from my love of gardening, my adventurous pets, family, and friends. I have been drawing my characters inspired by these things ever since I can remember.

Born in St. Joseph, Michigan, I grew up enjoying Lake Michigan and the beautiful area around the great lakes. This is where I started drawing the creatures I enjoyed as a child. There were plenty of animals, insects, frogs, toads, seagulls and sand pipers around the lake to occupy my imagination. In addition, I was fortunate to have a mom with a soft spot for all animals, so we had a variety of pets growing up. These creatures also inspire my love for all animals. Both inspirations influence my art with colorful tales and strong beliefs about nature. In addition to creating greeting cards, I draw, print, paint and work as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and art educator.
